Would You Let A Stranger Wash Your Underwear?

One of the advantages of having a lot of money is that you hire people or services for the things you dislike doing.

But for some, it works the other way.

I recently read of a husband and wife lottery winners who shifted to another country, and bought a magnificent mansion. But the husband continued to mow their own lawns.

They were apparently embarrassed about their newfound riches, and wanted to remain 'real' to retain the respect of their neighbors.

Why, I have no idea.

But I suspect it was because after a lifetime of toil and manual labor, they had a 'worker' mentality ingrained in them.

This made it impossible to let others do the work for them.

Then there are some (including us), who won't let anyone do their laundry... they feel it's too personal having strangers sift through their undergarments.

Fair enough.

So what WILL you gain from getting a vast sum of money? Are you ready for the re-education it takes to have other people work for you?
  • To deliver your groceries to you?
  • To sweep your paths?
  • To trim your bushes?
  • To clean your cars?
  • To take your dog for a walk?
  • To trim your toenails while you read?
  • To clean your bathroom?
  • To pay your bills?
Otherwise - what are you using your riches for?

Oh, I know...

- To buy your grandma a new Ford Taurus.
- To buy a secondhand boat, a beautiful 20 footer and your husband can go fishing at last.
- To quit your job and buy a small holding potato farm.
- To upgrade your computer.
- To secretly give a quarter of your winn to your local church.
- To buy a big screen TV. Stands to reason since you won your money looking at the television!
- To visit your relatives in Australia for the first time in 15 years.
- To take the family (2 boys and one daughter) to Hawaii for a week.
- To improve your home by adding a new kitchen.
- To invest in a local food franchise.
- To give half your winnings to your divorced daughter who has been struggling with her 6 month old child.
- To buy a Mustang, red, low miles.
- To get an extreme makeover just like the TV program.

These are some of the things our lottery winnners have done, according to their comments on my website.

Find the things in life that you want, and start your own winnning plan right now.

Happy Winning!

P.S. They say the best things in life are free. Try telling that to a mother whose young daughter needs urgent - and expensive - life saving surgery. You need money... lots of it, to live a fulfilled life.
