How To Reverse Bad Luck And Win Lotto

I came across a story yesterday about a ceremonial sword given to our Prime Minister several decades ago. Since then it has passed to several owners.

And each time it has brought bad luck to them.

Fascinating story. It illustrates how much we are still a primitive society underneath.

Bad luck can be quite powerful to those who believe it, especially if the person with the power appears to control your life. Like doctors, who have both the power to tell you the time you have left to live, and to heal you.

A recent survey found that over a third of our doctors give a placebo, or sugar pill, to many patients. And remarkably these people got better.

The patients didn't know the difference, but were cured by their belief system.

There are several ways you can reverse your fortunes, but by far the most effective for lottery playing is this single action: Get Rid of Your Losing Tickets.

Here's Your Lucky Lottery Numbers

Nice guy lives a few houses down in my private street.

Has a Porsche and a Lexus in his 3-car garage.

Must be earning some serious dough.

So how did he get it?

I'll tell you in a minute. 

But to give you a clue, one of his cars carries a personalized plate with the numbers "888" on it. And he's Asian.

Mmm.

The Chinese are one of the luckiest nations on earth, aren't they? And their love of numbers often mean good fortune for them. Here's a selection of numbers and their meanings:

1 — sure

2 — easy

3 — live

6 — easy and smooth, all the way.

8 — sudden fortune, prosperity

And according to Wikipedia, some lucky Oriental number combinations include:

99 — doubly long in time, hence eternal; used in the name of a popular Chinese-American supermarket chain, 99 Ranch Market.

168 — road of prosperity or to be prosperous together — many premium-pay telephone numbers in China begin with this number. It is also the name of a motel chain in China (Motel 168).

518 — I will prosper, other variations include: 5189 (I will prosper for a long time), 516289 (I will get on a long, smooth prosperous road) and 5918 (I will soon prosper)

814 — Similar to 168, this means "I will be wealthy my entire life". 148 also implies the same meaning.

888 — Three times the prosperity.

1314 — whole lifetime, existence.

Do you believe all this?

Nor do I.

Let me tell you all the 'lucky numbers' above mean nothing. They are a primitive form of control when we don't have anything else to fall back on. It's as hokum as a newspaper horoscope.

OK, here's the truth of the matter...

Did you spot the 888 above? The number of my lucky neighbor? 

Did he get his wealth through luck?

Nope.

He's a dentist.

We all know dentists make a lot of money without much problem, even in recessionary times.

That's the real answer.

So I don't understand why he needs a lucky number combination when these are proven not to work. But hey, sometimes believing blindly in a lucky number is better than nothing.

Maybe believing in the supernatural power of numbers gives him the confidence he wouldn't otherwise have.

Who knows.

But nothing can alter the fact that the laws of chance do NOT favor one number over another. There is no way luck can influence the way you choose numbers for your lottery game.

A Lottery Bedtime Story

Imagine this scenario.

You're a lotto ball. Let's say a nice red No.6. 

Sitting in the barrel, patiently waiting your turn.

But as each week goes by, you're getting more and more concerned. 

"Surely it will be my turn soon?" you ask yourself, as 17 and 38 go out for the second time in a row.

Week after week you wait, anxiously peering out into the big wide world through the perspex... hoping your time will come real soon. 

And every time the barrel rolls, you desperately thrust yourself towards the opening, hoping against hope that you will be chosen and you will finally escape from the clattery prison.

Suddenly, as the barrel turns once more, No.40 - a grizzly veteran of many Saturday nights - whispers to you as he passes..."You've got a chance tonight No.6 - don't let us down!"

And finally the opening appears... and you're free. 

Wheee! You shoot down the tube and bang against No.12. 

"Ouch!" he says gruffly. "Not so hard please."

But you don't care. You made it at last. 

You're a winner!

OK, what age group do you think finds this story believable?

I'll tell you. A 6 year-old... no older. The same age as when kids stopped believing in Santa Claus.

Because if you're older than 6, and you believe this, then you'll believe anything the rest of the lotto system world - except me - will tell you.

The truth is this: NO number has any better chance than another on a play-by-play basis.

Absolutely none.

You are unlikely to get those numbers all falling together at one time. The chances are infinitesimal. Very remote indeed.

And most players know it. That's why you never see a bad-boy picked on a board or coupon... or even as a drawing from the computer pick. Because everyone knows they are hugely unlikely to occur.

But luckily there are many patterns that are more easily identified. Milllions of other bad-boys arranged in different ways. 

Remove those bad-boys also, and you have a small percentage of random numbers that you can leave to chance, luck or whatever you like to call it.

How To Crank Up Your Lottery Luck With The R Word

If it happened once, that would not be very interesting.

But if it happened twice - or more - then you would start to sit up and take notice.

I'm talking about lotto winners and the way that some of them win major prizes twice. Yes, twice.

For example, I read recently:

• - That a woman who won $1 million playing a Pennsylvania Lottery earlier last year won another million on the same game in June.
  
  
• - Pennsylvania lottery officials said other winners have experienced lucky streaks. A Carbon County man won four times, collecting over $2.5 million in the late 1980s and '90s; and a husband and wife separately won replica Pocono pace cars in the Pocono Race for the Riches game in 2000.
  
  
• - In Australia a 70-year-old Taree grandfather who had already won $1 million in Lotto was one of three winners sharing in the game’s First Division prize of $500,000 later on.
  
  
• - And in Ireland, for the second time in eight years, a group of 33 colleagues from the Clonmel Nationalist newspaper traveled to Dublin to collect their Lotto winnings. In October 1993, the syndicate won £400,000, but in 2001 they more than doubled their winnings to £1m. Each member won £30,303.
  
  
• - In my country (New Zealand), a Rotorua couple celebrated the end of an extraordinary year, having won two major lottery prizes back in 2005.

The more I looked, the more common it was. These are just the tip of the iceberg.

I can tell you there is a common factor between all these regular wins.

Charity Pays Off In The Supermarket

Let me tell you a little story:

I was waiting in my local lotto shop a while back, standing in line. I don’t normally wait in a queue anywhere, but of course a lotto line is different! This store was a kiosk in a large grocery supermarket chain and I go there every day or two just to get out of my home office--meet new people, you know.

Ahead of me in the line, a few people away, there was a women looking expectantly as her tickets were being checked through the machine. Housewife type, not well dressed, but a nice person - you could tell.

Suddenly the till gave that little chiming noise I knew.

I identified it straight away because it usually makes that noise for me each week...

Tip: get your tickets checked out by machine instead of
doing them yourself. It's far more accurate and takes
less time. I have dozens in play at any time so it would
be insane for me not to!

Anyway, the till chimed and the housewifely woman clapped her hands together with joy. I saw the happiness in her face as the lotto guy counted out about $100 to her from the till pockets. The line was abuzz.

The guy ahead of me in the line turned and said, "That's the first time I've ever seen that happen."

"Like what?" I asked.

"A win," he replied, his eyes doleful. "Never had one, never seen anyone else get one either until now."

As the women skipped passed us tucking her money into her purse, a smile still covering her face, I had a sudden thought.From the wad of tickets in my special lotto wallet, I pulled one out and handed it to him.

"What's this?" he asked suspiciously, peering at the old-fashioned ticket.

Well, it turns out his phone was about to be cut off that afternoon, and he was between paydays--as some people are. So the lotto win not only paid for his phone to be reconnected, but there was enough over to buy his daughter some material for a school project she desperately needed.

I pushed the money back to him. "My reward is that it worked for you," I said, "I don't need your share."

Right Up To The End I Waited

I dropped into my local lotto outlet to buy some more tickets and to get my last week's tickets checked by their lotto machine.

It takes a while because I have quite a few tickets... a combination of my own personal investment tickets as well as the Winner's Circle tickets.

Do You Believe In Horoscopes?

I'm talking about the general, average horoscope you see in your daily newspaper.

Maybe today it told you to believe in a certain number and a certain color.

It might have even told you that bad luck will come your way unless you do something specific.

I would ignore it.

If you have had much bad luck in your past - and you think will influence your numbers, don't worry. Most people have experienced more problems than you have. The important thing to remember is that winning a lotto game does NOT depend on how much bad luck you've had in your life.

As long as you keep moving and trying, you will make your own good luck.

The Deliberately Forgotten Word In Lotto

I'm going to reveal a word that most lotto system promoters - except me - never use, when they promote their outlandish claims.

Because the use of this word immediately makes all their programs useless. That's right... if they used this word in their marketing, their sales would drop to zero.

And yet I use this word constantly for my program. And my sales are always increasing.

You see, when you buy a lotto system, there is a lot of expectation. You're hoping that their program will get you results immediately, maybe even win you the jackpot. And the complicated methods these other lotto systems use gives you reassurance. (Hey, nothing simple ever works, right?)

So you look forward to your win, forgetting the power of this word to upset the whole apple cart.

That word is "luck." It's the last denominator in the whole structure of a lotto system. And yet it's the most important.

To see why, here's how the Silver Lotto System works...

My system is the only one that removes "bad" numbers. These are millions of numbers and number sequences that will never appear in any winning lotto game. Real Life And Lotto

I'm amazed at the parallels between lotto and real life. For example:

- There are countless examples of people who achieve success on a huge scale, simply through persistence. They are simple folk, just like you and I. Yet they have succeeded beyond belief simply by continuing to do what they're good at. In a lotto game, it is also long term persistence which eventually wins. Dale Carnegie, author of "How To Win Friends & Influence People" said: "Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." However, this brings us all to another point...

- Success is not that easy. Because there is no one single rule. In fact, many people who have examined the path that millionaires take have found a huge difference between their methods. Most successes are built up from a number of individual talents as actress Sophia Loren pointed out: "Getting ahead in a difficult profession requires avid faith in yourself. That is why some people with mediocre talent, but with great inner drive, go much further than people with vastly superior talent." You might even say that these talents represent lotto balls, and so you can never be sure which ones will roll down the chute to give the winning path.

- Another example: Along with persistence is continuity. Once again, there seems to be no overnight successes, but success in life is often a chosen path that has been traveled over many years. Benjamin Disraeli: "The secret of success is constancy of purpose." In lotto these are the players who, week after week, play the same numbers until luck catches up with them.

So there's three examples of success: persistence, talent selection, determination. The only factor you have no control over is luck. Or do you?

A Lucky Meeting At The Supermarket

Let me tell you a little story:

I was waiting in my local lotto shop a while back, standing in line. I don’t normally wait in a queue anywhere, but of course a lotto line is different! This store was a kiosk in a large grocery supermarket chain - the one in the post below - and I go there every day or two just to get out of my home office--meet new people, you know.

Ahead of me in the line, a few people away, there was a women looking expectantly as her tickets were being checked through the machine. Housewife type, not well dressed, but a nice person - you could tell.

Suddenly the till gave that little chiming noise I knew so well (it's called "I'm In The Money").

I identified it straight away because it usually makes that noise for me each week.

Tip: get your tickets checked out by machine instead of doing them yourself. It's far more accurate and takes less time. I have dozens of tickets in play at any time, so it would be insane for me not to!

Anyway, the till chimed and the housewifely woman clapped her hands together with joy. I saw the happiness in her face as the lotto guy counted out about $100 to her from the till pockets. The line was abuzz.

The guy ahead of me in the line turned and said, "That's the first time I've ever seen that happen."

"Like what?" I asked.

"A win," he replied, his eyes doleful. "Never had one, never seen anyone else get one either."

As the women skipped passed us tucking her money into her purse, a smile still covering her face, I had a sudden thought.

From the wad of tickets in my special lotto wallet, I pulled one out and handed it to him.

"What's this?" he asked suspiciously, peering at the old-fashioned ticket.

At this point I have to tell you something about lotto tickets.

I've been using my system a long time, and it wins a lot of times. And I use the same tickets and set of numbers each time. This is the part of the Silver Lotto System secret that I haven't revealed anywhere before. So now you know!

As I stood up with the bottle in my hand, standing in front of me was the guy from the lotto line a couple month's back, grinning at me.

I knew he had some good news to tell me, just by the expression on his face.

Without saying a word, he pulled his wallet from his back pocket and started peeling off some notes. Handing them to me, he said, "Mate, your ticket saved my bacon, so this is for you." (Some New Zealanders use 'mate' as a replacement for 'sir' or 'friend.')

Well, it turns out his phone was about to be cut off the afternoon I first met him in line, and he was between paydays--as some people are. So the lotto win not only paid for his phone to be reconnected, but there was enough over to buy his daughter some material for a school project she desperately needed.

I pushed the money back to him. "My reward is that it worked for you," I said, "I don't need your share."

Here's my point: You don't need a lot of money to win with the Silver Lotto System. Just enthusiasm.

A small-town pharmacy about 300 km away from here is where Lady Luck visits most often.

According to this morning's newspaper, the country's luckiest lotto shop has had the highest number of lotto winners in the country... 29 first division winners and 149 second division winners since 1987.

And last weekend a father of three walked out a 'stunned and shaking instant millionaire' with $3.5 million in his pocket.

Hey, that's amazing.

But before you start to pull out your checkbook to buy some tickets by post from this place, let's read right to the end of the article where it says...

"The pharmacy rates fifth highest in the country for volume of sales, with about 3500 tickets sold each week..."

Aha! Now we are getting somewhere. It's pure verification of my Silver Lotto System.

The secret is "frequency."

Play a lot of tickets, get a lot of wins.

Part of the success of my system is due to this very fact.
