A Once-A-Year Event Unfolds

Everyone has this once-a-year event...

And mine is today.

It's a birthday.

So far I've been sung to over the phone by our grandchildren and children here and overseas, and watched a corny - but funny - e-card from my wife.

There is just one son left to check in with me, but he's traditionally late, I guess so we can have the day's activities to talk about. Sensible.

I haven't had many presents, but that's no problem.

I want for very little these days (except maybe a corporate jet, but they are best leased), so when I was asked beforehand for some gift ideas, it was very simple.

A hand-made birthday card... something that has a part of the giver built in. 

And a nice set of strings for my guitar. 

As it happened I had to select the strings myself because I needed to look for the right ones. 

But no big deal... I don't like surprises that much. But the wrapping paper was nice :)

For the week leading up to today's event I thought about having a Birthday Sale.

You know, giving away some of my products for a song for the next 24 hours.

But the fact is, every 'special' discount means another bunch of disappointed people who bought at the full price.

So I very rarely have Sale Discounts for this reason.

How To Win The Lottery Or Get The Car Of Your Dreams

I'm going to talk about a 'James Bond' car that I own.

And how I got it.

I had wanted an Aston Martin for decades, but it wasn't until the last couple of years that I got serious with my quest to have one sitting in my garage.

It happened that back in 2008 that I also had a Lexus LS600hL - the flagship hybrid that is the most expensive car in the Lexus lineup.

And at the same time, I had my eye on an Aston Martin Vanquish that had been up for sale.

It was well beyond my budget, but I didn't let that influence me.

How to Avoid The 2 Biggest Mistakes Most Lottery Players Make

Many lottery players make 2 big mistakes when they try to beat the odds:

1. They think that quality is a better strategy.

2. They change their play too frequently.

Let me explain these problems and how you can avoid them.

PROBLEM #1

When a player is looking for quality results, it means that they are mainly looking for a top program or method that can get them the biggest jackpot for the smallest effort and outlay.

Nothing wrong with that. It's exactly what I try and do with each of my Silver Lotto Systems too.

But the reality is that trying to achieve the top jackpot in any lottery is an almost impossible task.

You're competing with millions of others in the game... all trying to hit the same target. 

And only a few get there. 

Just look at the number of shared main prize jackpots around the world - they are very rare.

That means the winning number combination is not that common.

So not only do these players have a huge amount of competition, but the likelihood of getting the right win combination in a very short time is almost impossible.

That's why good lottery programs like mine never promise you the jackpot.

In fact, my system works best when you're looking to win a large number of smaller amounts.

The reality is you're better off striving for multiple lower amounts of up to a million or so, rather than banking on the larger $100 million jackpot prizes.

So forget quality... forget trying to get the top prize in any game. 

Go for quantity instead. The more tickets you can use in combination with an effective system like mine, the better your results. 

It means a higher number of multiple wins, even though they might be smaller amounts.

However, I'll bet you'll be pleased with $1 million here and there!

PROBLEM #2

The second problem is where players change their strategy, tactics and even systems when they don't get a quick result.

The answer is that top players, like myself, never depend on a single play.

We know that persistence and repeating play pays off best in the long run.

While everyone else has given up after a month or two of poor results, the real winners are plowing persistently on.

And they get amazing results.

What Happens When You Win The Lottery

I read the big lottery winnner stories, and I despair.

Because it seems no matter how much these folk earn, most of it is gone in a few years... squandered on high-living. 

Or, as English footballer George Best famously said of his lost millions: "I spent most of it on booze, broads and fast cars. The rest I wasted."

Here's 3 things you should start thinking about now - before the vast millions of dollars drops into your bank and you go stir-crazy with all the unasked advice you'll receive:

1. - Don't listen to friends. Rarely will they have the knowledge to tell you how to invest your $10's of millions. While they will have your best interests at heart and are well-meaning, these are not the people you should speak to. 

This is the time to go and see a financial advisor at a government-backed bank. Head for the guy who manages HNWI accounts (that stands for High Net Worth Individual. Most global banks have a separate division for those individuals).

2. - Take a spending break. Just clamp up your wallet and don't spend a cent. I know, your natural instinct is to start paying everything off and giving money away to family. But don't, yet.

As I mentioned in an earlier newsletter, some gifts will attract tax in some states or countries. You could easily end up with a tax bill which could wipe out your hard-won dollars. You need to figure all that out before you start throwing greenbacks out the window.

3. - And here's my personal answer. You don't hear this solution talked about much because it is quite a radical step in these days of instant everything. Yet it is based on wisdom built over centuries of experience...

This: Don't ever spend your winnnings! 

Padlock it up and make it untouchable.

I'm suggesting that instead of spending it, make your once-in-a-lifetime bonanza produce an everlasting income stream for you, like this...

Let me explain. 

In the olden days, the wealthy had a rule.

It was simply this: "Don't touch the capital."

Capital - money or buildings - was the source of all income. These property holdings and funds which produced unceasing money.

Like a never-ending stream, these sources would keep pouring out cash forever.

And the rich lived off the interest or rent - but never touching the capital.

Good times or bad, their golden goose would keep producing like there was no tomorrow. And the clever among them would feed back that stream into the capital again and again, until it became a raging torrent.
