The Speed Of Heat

It's coming up to winter in our country in the next month or two.

So at the beginning of this year I contacted a couple of heating firms to try and organize a better way to warm up our place. Unbelievably, the original owners and builders of our property four years ago neglected to put in a central heating system. (Maybe they were waiting for a lotto win!)

Now we are faced with having some add-on system because the construction of the home won't allow a retrofit.

But it's taken months. First it takes maybe a month or two for someone to get here to give a quote, and then the same time for them to install.

By comparison, each week I sit back after having given my tickets to the local Lotto outlet and delight in the speed it takes. Only a few minutes from start to stop.

And of course, the rewards - a handful of dollars in a few minutes - are far better than just having a heated house!

It's unusual to have things like my Silver Lotto System work so quickly and so well these days.
