C.A.R.P... Photographic Proof My Lottery Winning Strategy Works

I've just put up a photo on my other blog of 50 of my winning tickets.

I took it because I decided that a picture is worth more than a thousand words. So I gathered the winning tickets from over a month or so, laid them out all together on my office floor and took a photo with my iPhone 4.

My Story Of A Trip Gone Bad... And How Winning The Lottery Is Easier Than You Think

The car drew up next to me.  "Oi!" shouted the driver through his open passenger window, and then said something I couldn't hear. But I knew it wasn't nice. I stared straight ahead.

The same day I pulled in front of a large truck. It immediately closed the gap between us and flashed its lights, blaring the horn.

And I had no idea what caused these two events. None whatsoever.

I was in a rented BMW 5-series, driving in a civilized country halfway across the world. And even though I had done this trip every year for decades and driven thousands of miles each time, I had never experienced two driving problems in one day. Maybe once every few years. Never in a single 5 hour period.

When I told my brother about it on returning to his house in the afternoon, he shrugged his shoulders. "Perhaps they just don't like white-haired men driving BMW's," he said trying to be helpful. "Perhaps they just had 14 incidents like this and you were the fifteenth, the breaking point."

As wise as those comments were, they weren't the real reason, as I was to find out very shortly.

There's a parallel process in the lottery.

Remember those transparent stickers on car mirrors that used to say: "Caution, objects may be nearer than they appear." You don't see them any more.

Well the exterior mirrors were the culprit. They gave a wide angle view - but subtle so it was hard to tell.

And all the time I had been misjudging my overtaking. By a lot. I was probably causing many near misses when I thought I had the room to get through. 

None of my own cars had these suicide mirrors, so I didn't expect this problem.

Before I figured it out, I got so upset at my treatment from others on the road that I stopped driving for a couple of days. And you know, it was actually fun... I got to see the countryside and sights I normally missed because I was concentrating on the road.

But after a while I began to miss my independence, and got back in the BMW again. And the rest of the trip went smoothly, as I wanted.

He Was Going To Throw Me Out Of The Plane Without a Parachute! My Life As A Lottery Winner Was Over

True story from a few decades ago.

The hard-faced military skydiving instructor pointed at a parachute on the side of the DC3 aircraft. 

We were at 5,000 feet and the noise of the twin engines reverberating in the empty plane was so loud I couldn't hear him speak.

All the parachutists had jumped. The plane was empty.

As a young air force photographer it was my job to take some publicity shots from a small side window above the wing. The technicians had removed it for me before the flight.

There were some good shots there as the parachutes opened and they drifted out the door. I was happy about this job, but nervous about this flight sergeant.

And now there was just him and me in the vibrating fuselage. 

And the two pilots occupied up front behind a closed door to the cockpit.

The flight sergeant was pointing - telling me soundlessly to put the parachute on. 

And I KNEW he was going to throw me out to my certain death.

I knew this because earlier, as soon as I got in the aircraft on the tarmac, I felt he disliked me intensely, and my type. 

And I guessed why. 

Military parachutists are super-men... strapping examples of manhood... steely-eyed, lock jawed, silent killers. 

Photographers are weak, sissy-looking people with weak handshakes and girly fringes.  (Not me - just the typecast version).

He hated me for it, right from when he ordered me - a lowly corporal - into the front of the long sloping aircraft, then immediately turned his back on me. 

He hated me, I was certain, because I was soft and had a cushy job doing non-manly things. He thought I was a step below fashion photographers.

And now, up in the air, came the clincher. He would murder me and no-one would be the wiser. My lifeless body would be found in a distant forest, with the parachute unopened, and the court would close the case off citing accidental death.

He came closer. He was going to throw me out WITHOUT the parachute!

His mouth contorted as he appeared about to give me my last rites, and bent closer to my ear. All the horror movies I had ever seen flashed before my eyes.

"It's just a safety precaution," he shouted, "we're going up to 10,000 ft and it's a requirement to always have a parachute on when the door is off."

He winked at me and helped me unhook the parachute from the rack. Relief flooded over me.

All my anxiety immediately disappeared. As I strapped the bulky knapsack on my back, I gave silent thanks to a mistaken series of events. 

The rest of the trip was uneventful. And I learned you can't judge other people by their looks - or even their actions.

I Just Washed The Car, Am I Going To Win The Lottery?

I lifted the blinds this morning and peered out into the mist and drizzle. 

Well knock me over with a feather... just a day after I spent 30 minutes of my life - which I'll never get back - lovingly washing my Lexus SUV... it rained on it.

What a wasted effort. But it's curious...

This wash/rain happens so often I'm going to put it into a "World's Biggest Unanswered Questions" website, along with - how do birds navigate, where do flies go in winter, and why are some people more successful than others.

Because this coincidence happens quite often. Wash the car, rain starts... even if the weather forecast says otherwise. Do I start the rain maybe?

Some people have a similar feeling that they are going to win the lottery. 

They get this urgent tickle and go out to buy a bunch of tickets, knowing deep down THIS GAME could be the time. 

It often isn't, but it will be sometime. We just don't know exactly when.

Wouldn't it be convenient if it worked like my wash/rain factor?

Many people think that numbers have the the same potential...that there are 'hot numbers' that will repeat often, and then 'cold numbers' that will appear soon afterwards and make their fortune. 

Sorry, it's just mumbo-jumbo.

There's no such circumstance as Hot and Cold numbers. It was all made up years ago by someone without any clue.

Because the real secret is this: The numbers in each game start from zero. From scratch.

That's because lotto numbers have no memory.

They can't follow a Hot and Cold pattern because winning number combinations start from the beginning each time. There is no predictability. You cannot tell when a particular number arrives. I ... have been winning 3 numbers or sometimes 3+bonus, or when I get lucky I win 4 numbers... To cut the story short I read your tips from time to time to get motivated. Last week the jackpot was 20mil and I played 2 tickets for R21 i.e. 6 lines. I played the numbers you compiled for me because I was very lazy to think. 

By the way we have lotto and lotto plus. Each line is R2.50 but if you add lotto plus you add a R1 in each line. I won R272.00 times 2. That was R544 and it was great. ..

In line "C" I got 4 winning numbers (R265 X 2)and line "D" got 3 winning numbers which was just (R7 X 2). 

I sometimes lazy to play but to convince people that Ken's system really works, I must play regularly or when there is a big stake. I really can't wait to become a millionaire because I know I will.

The Answer...The True Secrets Of Lottery Success, Grasshopper!

Here's how most young grasshoppers (to use a loose Zen example) attempt to be successful:

 1. They seek a mentor...someone who has such enormous success that they are inspired to do the same.

 2. They look at the mentor's background and success stories.

 3. They try and emulate some of them.

Long ago, starting out in life, I wanted to be like a prominent property developer. This man (who as he aged, has remarkably turned into the Simpson's billionaire character Mr Burns), was renowned for his tough dealing, his love of books and writing, his focus on getting results.

I loved books and writing too. I reasoned... how hard could it be to get even a small percentage of this magnate's success?

Sadly, it was hard. 

I never came anywhere close. In fact, I didn't really even get started. 

I tried selling real estate to get some experience in the field, and failed miserably. I tried property courses, seminars - even hired another property guru for the grand sum of $120 for 1 hour's consultation. I did all the right moves and failed some more.

At one course over 20 years ago, the presenter made an announcement to the packed room, "Management tells me there is a Mercedes sports car blocking part of the car park. Could the owner please move it back a couple of feet." 

Then, astoundingly, he said in an aside that was picked up by his microphone, "Don't know why they bought that kind of car anyway." And I had to walk out in front of several hundred people to shift my car, not quite understanding why he said that - but knowing it wasn't positive for me.

I was being criticized for having a luxury car that many people aspired to. I couldn't understand the mentality of the comment, since the presenter was meant to be a successful property developer and investor.

Years of failure later, I figured that success in real estate was not for me. It was a different world. I was not suited to it. 

What a waste of time and energy.

But once I had got the property craving out of my subconscious, I went on to use other skills that were more a match to my personality and aspirations. And succeeded beyond my wildest dreams.

Along the way I found The Answer.

It isn't what you think. 

Fact is, most people who succeed in business don't get there because of a single grand idea. It may appear that way on the surface:

 Google is just a database.

 Facebook is just a simple website.

 Subway is just a sandwich store.

No, business success is made up of many, many painstaking steps. And failures.

Start here, then step to the right. That doesn't work, so move to the left. Go backwards for a couple of steps till you figure something else out.

The path is always crooked, and takes time. Every 'overnight success' you read about has been the result of someone who spent a long time getting there, as you'll find when you dig a little deeper into their history.

Winning the lottery is quite different. There is no complicated background or study needed.
