The Lesson A Hobo Taught Me About Winning The Lottery

[blogphotosig.JPG]

As he came round the side of our house, a stooped, unkempt figure with darting eyes, little did I know that I was going to experience a life-changing lesson that morning.

I didn't let him inside.

I was a bit uncertain about him.

So he waited patiently while I brought the object to the door.

He turned it over in his hands. "How much did you say you wanted?" he said, never looking up.

I told him a figure, and he sighed.

"That's a fair amount," he said. "But I make my living selling these - and I don't think I can put it on the shelf at this price."

He looked directly at me, then said, "I can offer you a little less, but it's probably more than you'll get anywhere else." He waited.

I felt sorry for the man, and so I agreed. He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a wad of cash and started peeling some notes off.

We shook hands.

Then the lesson began.

"Ahh..." he started, putting the rest of the money back in his pocket, "do have any coins you want to sell?"

"Well, no," I replied, and I was about to explain I didn't collect coins when he launched into his next question.

"What about stamps... do you have a collection, or individual stamps you want to sell?"

"No, I..."

Again he interrupted, pleasantly. "Antiques? Do you have any old chairs or tables you want to sell?"

We started walking down the path towards the gate, and he kept up the endless questioning.

Household items, crockery, cutlery, glass bowls, did I have a hobby I'd given up...?

The questions went on and on. We got to the gate - he was still asking.

I was amazed at the long list of items that tumbled out of his memory bank.

Then he mentioned racquets.

I remembered I had always intended to sell my high tech tennis racquet - but hadn't got round to it.

A few minutes later I had more money than I expected, and the buyer had my racquet dangling awkwardly from his hand. He obviously wasn't a player.

By the time we reached the gate for the third time, he had bought four household items of mine that I never thought of selling.

And I had learnt the valuable lesson of persistence.

Soon this buyer - a wealthy professional trader as I discovered later - would be returning to his home and sitting down at his computer to list my items on TradeMe, our local equivalent of eBay.

I knew he would be selling them for a lot more than he gave me.

I didn't mind.

Because he had taught me a valuable lesson that day.

Even though his visit was years ago, the experience has always stayed with me.

Persistence always wins in the end.

It's the reason I keep writing these daily emails to you, year after year.

To remind you that if you want to win lottery games, you must never ease up.

When the weather stops you getting down to your local store to buy tickets, break through your comfort barrier and do it anyway.

When your tickets only bring you a few freebies, remember that next week is a fresh start. It's worth the effort:

It took my gypsy buyer many questions to get what he wanted, but he ended up with a goldmine for his efforts.

Like him, keep playing and stay focused on your goal.

The rewards of persistence are amazing.

Some 20 Oddly Weird Traits - Will They Help Win The Lottery?

[blogphotosig.JPG]

We're all a bit weird in some way, even the normal among us. Well, some folk avoid walking on the cracks, others check their locks 20 times a day.

So out of curiosity today I started making a list of my own weirdnesses, and got a shock. That's because the bulk of the list showed - in no uncertain manner - that I have Obsessive Tendencies. It is quietly discomforting to know this.

Some of the habits are quite interesting, but others are strangely odd. I use the word 'hate' often, even though I'm not a hating kinda guy in any way.

I'll leave you to make the decision on my sanity here. And after the list I'll tell you what weird traits won't help you winning the lottery.

1. I always take everything out of my cars when I get out. The interiors of my cars look like new whenever I'm not inside, because I remove everything...rubbish, personal items, books - after every trip, whenever I arrive home.

2. I hate any rubbish in the kitchen sink. My wife occasionally drops in a cleaning sponge or maybe a bit of paper. This drives me berserk. My sinks have to be sparkling and empty.

3. I hate anyone reading a newspaper before me. It has got to be new and uncreased, though I stop at having it ironed :) At breakfast my wife sits patiently until I've finished a section, which I then pass on to her. My peculiarity comes from years of newspaper ownership I guess. But mainly because I can't abide creased, ripped or out-of-order pages.

4. Famous footballer David Beckham and I share a common dislike. He makes sure all his cups are lined up in the cupboard with the handles facing the same way. So do I. But I stop at only having equal numbers showing, like him. That's definitely weird.

5. I don't read or watch bad news. If there's a headline or news about murder, riots, amputations or anything negative, I turn it off or look away.

6. I also turn down the tv sound for adverts. I used to make my money designing ads. Now I can't stand them.

7. I change my pillowcases each day, even though I don't dribble or dirty them. And bed sheets I change twice a week. I would change them daily like the late Elizabeth Taylor, but she had personal issues (her husband's lovers in their marital bed) that made her obsessive about it. I don't have any such issues.

8. I don't like to take the same route twice when walking or driving. It's hard when there's only one exit from your house road, but whenever I can I will take alternative routes to my destination. Helps me see new things and stay fresh. Sometimes I walk down our stairs backwards to keep my reflexes alert.

9. I won't wear a tie again. A tie round my neck to me means restriction, not fashion. Life is too short to impress others while you slowly throttle yourself.

10. I have never used or even turned on the radio, tv or cd player in any of my cars, either while stopped or driving. Yet I am a musician who loves music. I just like to concentrate on the road without distraction.

11. I'm trying to give up shaking hands with anyone. I know that 50% of people don't wash their hands after going to the toilet, so what other filth would they be harboring that will kill me? I don't even like thinking about it. Also, when I shake hands with males, there's a dominance thing going on. While I'm a strong handshaker, some grips from competitive males are unpleasantly painful.

12. I don't offer to open stuck bottle tops or lids. If other people can't open them, I won't be able to either, and I'll just end up damaging my joints. The days when I used to show my superior strength with these kind of manly tricks are over!

13. Nothing disgusts me more than seeing someone eat with their mouth open.

14. Even though I preach that it's more efficient to only do stuff once (read an email once and act on it, touch a piece of paper only once and act on it), I can't resist click on my income websites every few hours to watch my sales figures climb.

15. I won't go near a hospital. These are places for collecting diseases, so why would anyone want to go right to the source of viruses? Not me, for sure.

16. Kids are cute, but I find they don't become interesting to talk to until they get to their teens. (Then they clam up. You can't win!)

17. I always drive - rarely am I a willing passenger. Except in aircraft. It's a control thing again.

18. I hate the internet for discovering that there are thousands of people just like me. From childhood I had always thought I was unique and had original ideas... but I've found the net has uncovered many people just like me, who think the same, had the same ideas at the same time as me, and often share the same opinions. It is very discouraging to know there are mental clones of you all over the world.

19. I'm still vain at 60. I am still concerned over my appearance many decades after the need to look my best. In the early days we first primp ourselves up to attract a partner. But when we snare one, we don't need to do this. The extra effort in appearance is simply vanity.

20. I believe sci-fi and horoscopes are beneficial to humanity. Both present a view of the future which we all build into. A horoscope works for believers by becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. Same with sic-fi... the vision of the future is compellingly set out ready for anyone to pick up. They are both a force for control of the future.

Notice anything about these foibles? Yes, while i have some decidedly strange ideas and beliefs, there's no number fetish... I don't have favorite numbers, or believe that numbers control us. The Mayan 2012 end-of-the-world doom prediction is patently stupid.

So I don't believe in lucky numbers either. Luck, yes. Numbers, yes. But lucky numbers? There's no such thing.

So what works? My Silver Lotto System negative number strategy which I should have patented. It works like crazy no matter what your income:

Hi Ken,
Later I'll order more from you but I'm on S.S. and only make $613.00 a month. I do play Power ball... I spend $20.00 a month some times more or less, and I do win using your system. I've won: $400.00 ,$300.00, $75.00, $50.00, $10.00, $5.00, $3.00 Not just once but many times. believe me the winnings sure help me to keep playing and to add a little bit more to my S.S. check every month. I put 1/2 back in to playing and the other half in my pocket.
...I won every week for Four months On powerball. My Tickets Grew to 23 Playing During the Four months, until they all played out. It was a great feeling. Really its not about how much I won as it is YOUR SYSTEM WORKS. Some day I may win the big one.
Thank you

The Rich And Their Stupid Use Of Money

[blogphotosig.JPG]

"What do you think?" said my son, as we surveyed his property improvements.

"Great!" we all said, but secretly I was thinking... he's a cash millionaire, but the place is not finished yet?

And we listened as he and his partner detailed all the work they were going to do over the next few months... maybe years.

I was too polite to tell him a few home truths which I'll explain in a minute...

But first I'm going to use this following example to change your thinking about the use of money.

Note that I said the USE of money... this is different to dealing with actual money itself. Because it's only the USE that will make a difference in your life.

We're all used to getting paid for our time, then spending most of our wages on essentials - and maybe putting a bit in the bank for a rainy day if we're lucky.

No surprise that we all live up to our full income, even the rich. A prominent financial planner to the moderately rich - that's earning up to $10m - said recently he was never surprised to see that even the wealthy had money problems. People are people no matter how much they earn.

And it doesn't stop at the moderately wealthy either. A few years ago the accountant for Larry Ellison (Larry - the billionaire who owns Oracle and is one of the world's richest men) said he "must stop his runaway spending."

Well, it seems everyone has problems of some sort at all levels.

I want to talk about people with too much money. Like my son - and perhaps you, after winning the Big One.

Because excess funds cause problems too. Especially when you don't use it as it is intended... to be spread around.

For example, several people in my own family - including my son - have too much money in the bank. They haven't told me how much they earn, but I can figure it out based on their job position and the current earning patterns.

They are quite well off. But you wouldn't think so. Because they do everything themselves.

They mow their own lawns.
They chop their own wood (one son has a farm).
They do their own decorating and painting, and gardening.

My house-fixin' son has spent 2 years doing up his home. It looks terrific, but... 2 years gone and still not completed??

With a few thousand dollars drawn from his comfortable bank account he could have hired all the experts he needed... and have the place finished in a couple of weeks.

He and his partner could have stayed in a nearby hotel for the time and brought more income to the local economy through all the services they would use there.

But because they are so hands-on, they are always behind the eight ball, tired, and don't have enough time to enjoy their spoils.

But they have plenty of useless money in the bank. (I suspect this is because my business crashed 20 years ago, and it's taught them a lesson... they are more cautious as a result).

You will probably be in the same position as them after your win. And like them you've been trained from an early age to respect hard work, and heck, you'll be damned if you'll let someone else do it - even if they do it better than you!

So here's what I'm guessing will happen...

After your win you'll have a ton of greenbacks stashed away - but you'll continue your old lifestyle of DIY (Do It Yourself). And this will be bad for the workers, trades and experts you could hire to make your life easier. They will lose out in many ways:

The laundry service will lose your $60 a week.
The lawn cutting service will lose your $55 a week.
The housemaid service will lose your $150 a week.
The nanny will lose your $400 a week.
The window cleaners will lose your $90 a week (you have a LOT of windows in your lotto mansion!)
The mobile car cleaners will lose $30 per car a week (yup, that's $180 gone).
The pool cleaning service will lose $50 a week.

There's more losses too, on a less regular basis... the guy who refills your filtered water, the ventian blind guy who cleans your 70-100 blinds, the tv installer who upgrades your plasma, the house painter, the waterblasting service. And so on.

It's a huge economy out there, and everyone relies on spenders like you to put food on their table. If not, they have to find work elsewhere, and in today's economy that could be difficult.

Big Lesson here: Money is made to be used, not hoarded.

When you have a huge winning sum from your lottery win, you'll never have any problems again in your lifetime. But make sure you don't cause problems for others by withholding it. Spread your good fortune round. So make sure it is earning some interest, and then spend some of that amount on getting things done... by others.

It will be the best investment you'll ever make.

By the way, you needn't go overboard like Polo clothes founder Ralph Lauren. In a recent article I read how his gardeners have to remove the animal barriers from his immaculate gardens before sunrise, so he can awake to a pristine uncluttered view of his grounds from his bedroom window.

Oh well, if he's paying, who minds!

The next best investment (you knew this was coming!) is my System:

1. The Silver Lotto System
2. The Lotto-80 System
3. The PRO System.

Ken,
I was skeptical about your system and went back
and checked out my numbers for the last 2 years
with my profile list, and I could only get a
few wins with the biggest $230. But I went ahead
anyway and would you believe it??? I won $7600!!!
after 5 weeks with these numbers. (I changed a
couple first, but it was mainly the same ones
according to your system).
So I'm sending you $76 as a reward for a great
game plan!

How To Increase Your Lottery Winnings In 2012

[blogphotosig.JPG]

Seth: Hey Ken, I'm not winning anything!

Me: How long have you been playing now?

Seth: Oh, about a week.

Now, if Seth had only a week to live, I guess he would have the right to be annoyed.

But let's face it, a week is not long enough to do anything useful, let alone test a lottery system.

If you ate only McDonald's food for just a week, instead of a month like the 'Super Size Me' guy in the documentary, you wouldn't gain much weight. (Well, in a week you might LOSE 6 pounds if you used my unique "Banned Food Diet" at http://www.bannedfooddiet.com. But that's an exception).

You won't be able to learn to drive properly in a week.

Even climbing Mt Everest takes more than a week's preparation.

Giving up smoking? 21 days is the accepted time to really quit.

There's nothing much you really accomplish in a week.

So playing one or two games to 'test' the system in that time won't really get any result for you.

Here's what you need to do... 3 easy steps to get more out of your week:

#1. Have you got both the Silver Lotto System AND Lotto-80? These systems combined will give you the best results for a low cost.

#2. Check that the game you are playing has the LOWEST number of balls and numbers. For example, if you have to choose between Powerball 5/59/39 and MegaBucks 6/42:

- Powerball has 5 balls for the main selection, but the second column (the red Power Ball) makes this 6 ball game win odds far too high unless you have the Silver Lotto System for Powerball: http://www.powerball-system.com.
- Megabucks has only 6 balls and 42 numbers to select... this gives you the better odds. Use this one.

#3. Go for lower prize payouts if you want regular winnings. The higher the prize, the more people play. So you will share the prizes with a large number of players and actually get less. But low payout games attract fewer players, and your chances of NOT sharing the prizes make them a better deal.

Then you need to follow my RFA guidelines... Relentless Focused Action... because all good things take time and energy.

What It Takes To Be A Lucky One-In-A-Hundred Lottery Winner

[blogphotosig.JPG]

"Tell me this, Ken," he said, bringing his chair closer to mine.

"Whats the chance of me becoming a lottery winner?" and he paused for effect....

"I mean, the REAL percentage chance, using your system?"

"That's easy," I replied, "1 in a 100."

He looked a bit depressed. "I had expected something higher than that. What about your 98% figure?"

"Oh, that still applies as well." Now my visitor really looked puzzled, so I explained...

Only one person in 100 becomes incredibly rich in any field. We know this from all the "Occupy Wall St" sit-ins recently - they're against the wealthy 1% who are apparently messing up the country. So 1% of the population is rich.

The reality is that only one person in 100... these one-percenters... will have the guts, the drive and determination to get somewhere. Doesn't matter if it is inventing a cure for cancer or winning the lottery.

That one person in one hundred will make the effort - compared to 99 others - to achieve success.

If you're that one in a hundred, then expect to get a 98% winning rate from my system as usual. But I'd be more concerned about getting into that '1 in a 100' category first.

Let's call you a 1% tryer (I'm sure you won't mind!)

First thing you should do is get the right mindset. Winning isn't just just a simple buy-the-tickets strategy. Anyone can do that for a while.

The real secret - and it's one I keep reminding you about in almost every newsletter - is to persist.

One set of tickets alone MAY get you the jackpot straight off. But often it doesn't. You'll need to try a few more times.

And if you're like most people, you'll give up too easily after a couple of tries, or maybe a month.

It's not unusual. Happens everywhere.

One of the biggest businesses in the world is the diet business. Fortunes have been made by weightloss gurus (including me: http://bannedfooddiet.com) because they know one thing...

People give up too soon.

They give up well before they get the results they want, and then go back to their natural habits. And later buy another weight-loss product.

Watch new slimmers like UK chef Nigella Lawson, actors Dawn French, Kevin Federline, regular dieter Oprah Winfrey and thousands more - and see that in less than 12-24 months they are back to their original size. And so it starts all over again.

In the lottery, as in business, it's the same story. Persistence pays off for just a handful of people who have the tenacity and mindset directed at success.

Why are a handful of internet business people like myself, Dan Kennedy, Ken Evoy, Yanik Silver (no relation!), Joe Vitale and Marlon Sanders still thriving 20 years later, when hundreds of thousands of far more skilled and talented people drop out after a year or two?

Of course, we all have a product that works and is useful - that's important. But the main reason is our determination to succeed. We have a strongly focused goal setting life that keeps us on top.

You can easily copy our methods. One of the best ways to learn how to persist is to vividly imagine the end result, the goal.

You might like to imagine a lottery-winning figure like $100 million. Or a number of milestones you want to accomplish... a new house, helping others, upgrading your car, buying a boat... the list can be long and varied. Most people have the same desires... to improve their position and help others out of their problems, so your list won't be unique.

To make it unique - so it sticks in your daily consciousness - you've got to add passion and emotion to your dream goals.

Live it, smell it, touch it. The more you can connect to your ambition in these ways the stronger your goal will become. And the greater your desire to achieve it.

In the sports world, the battle for supremacy is huge. Everyone wants the top spot, and the competition keeps them going. In the lottery we don't have the same conditions... you're not competing against others. You're simply aiming for the main prize. Being the best won't make any difference because you're dealing with random numbers, not years of skill and talent.

So the 'competition' is simply yourself. And the closer you can make your goals and dreams true to your imagined life - the faster you'll achieve them.

As always:
1. Play frequently.
2. Play intelligently (use the PRO System)
3. Ignore what you spend (we don't call them losses, but a cost of entry)
