What This $590 Million 84 Year-Old Powerball Winner Did Wrong

Newspaper and internet media photos showed a slightly smiling older woman being shepherded from the lottery office.

She looked fairly composed for someone who decided to receive her winnings in a lump-sum payment... an astounding $370.8 million before taxes.

The woman behind this week's second largest USA Powerball jackpot did a few things right when claiming her prize.

But a few things wrong too.

Should You Play The Powerball's $600 Million Jackpot Tomorrow?

The USA Powerball jackpot has jumped to $600 million this morning, and with just a day left to the draw will probably go much higher.

It's a very attractive jackpot.

But the fact is my system gets best results from low-number games. That is: low numbers of balls with low numbers, and no bonus or 7th ball.

That's because the fewer numbers, the better the odds.

At the other end of the scale is the USA Powerball and some other games where the odds of winning are much higher.

How To Be A Member Of My Secret Lottery Society

I'm about to have breakfast with an almost-lottery winner and friend. 

Though Lester won $1 million in principle, he failed to play on the day and couldn't collect.

But he's still a winner in my business because he had the winning numbers ready to go. 

You can't change that fact.

I'm going to order an omelette from an authentic French cafe at the bottom of my street.
