How To Get Above The Clouds To That Winning Silver Lottery Lining

I'm sitting in my office looking out to a dull, gray February day with some light rain dripping down the windows.

And I'm annoyed.

Because the Yahoo weather application on my iPhone told me that today was going to be sunny.

So I had a few things planned that depended on the weather being dry and fine.

And the worst thing is that - just a couple of thousand feet away - the world is bright and sunny.

I'm not talking down the road... or across the harbor.

It's straight up.

Above the clouds.

Up there, it's always sunny.

The cloud base may very from a few thousand feet to 10,000 feet, but once you get above it... it's always bright and cheerful... a silver lining.

There is only one problem.

To access this brilliant weather, you need to be in a flying machine of some kind... a hot air balloon, glider, helicopter or commercial airplane.

The good thing is, it's relatively cheap. You can get an intercity flight for as little as 39 bucks on special.

And on the way you get to see the sunshine.

There's a parallel here with the lottery.

At the moment you're sitting on the ground, looking for the sunshine... that big win.

But you're never going to get it unless you pay the price.

I call this "the price of admission" - rather like getting into a baseball game.

Unless you pay the full entry fee, you'll see nothing but the outside of the stadium.

As he came round the side of our house, a stooped, unkempt figure with darting eyes, little did I know that I was going to experience a life-changing lesson that morning.

I didn't let him inside.

I was a bit uncertain about him.

So he waited patiently while I brought the object to the door.

He turned it over in his hands. "How much did you say you wanted?" he said, never looking up.

I told him a figure, and he sighed.

"That's a fair amount," he said. "But I make my living selling these - and I don't think I can put it on the shelf at this price."

He looked directly at me, then said, "I can offer you a little less, but it's probably more than you'll get anywhere else." He waited.

I felt sorry for the man, and so I agreed. He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a wad of cash and started peeling some notes off.

We shook hands.

Then the lesson began.

"Ahh..." he started, putting the rest of the money back in his pocket, "do have any coins you want to sell?"

"Well, no," I replied, and I was about to explain I didn't collect coins when he launched into his next question.

"What about stamps... do you have a collection, or individual stamps you want to sell?"

"No, I..."

Again he interrupted, pleasantly. "Antiques? Do you have any old chairs or tables you want to sell?"

We started walking down the path towards the gate, and he kept up the questioning.

Household items, crockery, cutlery, glass bowls, did I have a hobby I'd given up...?

The questions went on and on. We got to the gate - he was still asking.

I was amazed at the long list of items that tumbled out of his memory bank.

Then he mentioned racquets.

I remembered I had always intended to sell my high tech tennis racquet - but hadn't got round to it.

A few minutes later I had more money than I expected, and the buyer had my racquet dangling awkwardly from his hand. He obviously wasn't a player.

By the time we reached the gate for the third time, he had bought four household items of mine that I never thought of selling.

And I had learnt the valuable lesson of persistence.

Soon this buyer - a wealthy professional trader as I discovered later - would be returning to his home and sitting down at his computer to list my items on TradeMe, our local equivalent of eBay.

I knew he would be selling them for a lot more than he gave me.

I didn't mind.

Because he had taught me a valuable lesson that day.

Even though his visit was years ago, the experience has always stayed with me.

Persistence always wins in the end.

It's the reason I keep writing these daily emails to you, year after year.

Do YOU Make These 5 Mistakes When Playing The Lottery?

So, you've been reading my Lottery Daily posts.

And I guess you still like what I say, because you haven't clicked off just yet.

You're very wise.

Because the only way to win big in the lottery game is to get information on why you're losing, learn from it - and then change your methods.

And since this is the only daily lotto blog available, you're off to a good start...

I'm going to tell you how to increase your chances of winning.

Because I've been in this business 20 years this year, since 1991, and I've seen a lot of people losing needlessly.

And I've discovered the difference between winning small or big can be any one of these 5 lotto-losing bloopers.

Read and absorb, then act!

Mistake #1. You're not playing enough lines. 

One Profile line or even 5 lines per game is NOT ENOUGH! Use more, many more. Save up and wait if necessary, till you can afford a whole ticket in one game.

Mistake #2. You're playing too many games with too few numbers. 

Keep focused. You can't play 4 different games each week with a few lines in each and expect to get any result. Focus in on one game, play big and stick with it.

Mistake #3. You've given up because you're not winning each week.

Keep going! Persist! Success comes to the tryers, the players, the involved, the do-ers. Not the stay-at-homers or the once-only's.

Mistake #4. You don't play each week.

You need to get in to win. Lotto is like going to a baseball game... you won't get inside the stadium unless you've bought a ticket at the gate. Get in the game!

Mistake #5. You need to build goals and believe in your dream. 

Unless you have a set of strong goals fueled by vivid dreams, like most folk you'll give up at the first sign of defeat. So keep striving and believing. It works!

The Power of WANT That Brings You Anything You Desire... Winning The Lottery, Getting Ahead In Life

I know a lot of people who want to win the lottery.

A lot.

And I also know others who want what I have... a gaggle of supercars, hilltop mansion, gardener, long marriage, film star looks, modest :)

First - you'll be pleased to know - the actual answer is simple.

It's not any positive thinking rubbish... though I'm the first to admit I'm more positive than most people I know. But that could have come as a byproduct as I grew more successful. You don't see many negative millionaires.

And you also have to separate getting what you want from winning the lottery.

Because obviously the lottery is a game of chance.

Wanting to win makes little difference to your success.

But wanting to win will keep you making all the necessary moves to achieve your goal, and eventually you'll succeed by:

- getting my system and using it

- playing regularly and not missing a game

- persisting when the odds are against you.

Look, getting what you want is merely a programmable series of steps.

Most of these I laid out in a previous post. Use them, and you'll get what you aim for.

But let me tell you what the most important first step to success actually is. The step you should take before those above or anything else.

In one word:

WANT.

That simple word is the difference between getting your private yacht, attractive partner, happy relationships, Mediterranean vacation... or your Wants just staying as an unanswered pipedream.

I'll tell you what I haven't revealed to even my wife in over 3 decades (though she might have guessed!). This: For my age, I'm still a simple-minded guy.

By this I mean, in an interesting and occasionally full life, one would expect by now I would possess increased intelligence, powerful leadership qualities, wisdom borne from experience, strong ethics.

But, apart from the last one, I don't have any of those.

Instead, I found I had to make do with what I've got already.

And it's not a lot.

So I have a magical WANT machine that makes up for my many personal deficiencies.

And that's all you need too.

Something to drive you from within.

Here's an example... Ted Williams, the American homeless tramp with the golden voice, was discovered begging on a freeway entrance a few days ago and is now voicing tv commercials for big money.

He was discovered at the start of a freeway turnoff, standing there with a sign, day after day, talking for a buck a time. For two years.

Two, long - probably cold and hot - years.

How did he survive?

His WANT machine was in overdrive.

Imagine standing in the same spot for over 700 days until being discovered - that's great persistence.

Do YOU want anything that bad?

Do you wake up with an emotional ache in your throat after dreaming about commanding and owning a luxury super yacht?

Do you catch your breath when an attractive car sweeps round the corner, in just your color?

Do you pore over the internet for real estate above $10 million?

Do you desperately wish for an unending stream of cash flowing into your bank account every day?

And do you do these things every day for years on end?

Then, like me, your WANT machine is working.

But most people can't imagine their improved life with such intensity.

Maybe, for them, age, location and health might be barriers to the success they Want.

I can tell you - it's not.

The only barrier is constrained thinking... a lack of a true Want.

As I've mentioned many times in my newsletters and blog posts, I'm no different that anyone else. I even have less than most people in the height, hair, looks and athletic departments.

But thanks to the power of the internet I don't have to rely on magnetic personality or strong oratory to sway others.

I'm working with my own limited skill set and using my WANT package to get ahead.

I still have a lot of WANTs.

The desire to acquire is strong, still, after years of dreaming.

That helps me suceeed.

Concentrate on your Wants... feed them, nourish and nurture them.

Whether it's winning the lottery or helping a family, bringing fresh water to the desert or giving poor children their eyesight, collecting expensive stuff or giving it all away to charity, it all starts with a WANT.

How strong is your WANT?
