How To Get Out Of That Hole

Do you get depressed about the economy? There are few countries who are not having some sort of problem at the moment with housing or jobs.

Maybe you are in that position. Is retirement is coming up and you haven't got as much as you need to live comfortably?

Maybe you just need some spare cash.

There are two ways around it.

1. Keep buying lotto tickets. And buy them early in the week so that you have plenty of time to think about how you will spend the money. It's not unrealistic to use forward expectation as a way of getting through the day. You'll be amazed at how positive you feel whenever you think about the rewards... how a win could solve all your daily problems. It's an easy way to stay positive about life.

2. Start a home-based, part-time business. But never give up your day job. Ideally you should start and build up a lowcost business until it matches or exceeds the money you receive from your job. Then you can go full-time - but not before.

What kind of business? The world is a big place, and it's tempting to think that there are millions of opportunities out there. But there are not. In fact, I believe there's only two or three opportunities that are low-risk enough for you:

A. Multi Level Marketing. Some people think of Amway when they hear about multi-level or network marketing. But there are countless other opportunities in all different areas that doesn't involve this company. Just Google the term "mlm" and see what comes up. The advantage of MLM is that very little investment is needed... often only $20 or $30 to start. There is no product to buy, and all the accounting is done for you by the company you get involved with. In a kind of way, being an affiliate is like MLM because it has the same advantages.

B. Affiliate Marketing. Read my last post and you'll see how easy and risk-free it is. The Silver Lotto System is the best product to sell because there is no product to buy and the potential from billions of Lotto players is enormous. The one advantage that really makes it head and shoulders above most other affiliate products is the low refund rate... usually below 2%. That indicates a horde of satisfied buyers - which is all you need for a good product and income potential.

C. The Internet. There are countless opportunities to make a good living with tiny overheads (business costs). If you've ever sold something on eBay, you'll know what I'm talking about.

One of the biggest advantage in having a home-based profitable business is the tax advantage. In many cases you can claim a portion of costs from your telephone, rent, utilities, computer, upgrading... in fact, anything to do with running a business.

You'll notice I haven't given you many options to make a start. That's because they're too numerous.

What's An Affiliate And How Do I Become One?

Unlike most of the information products on the internet, I don't freely give away affiliate sign-ups. In fact, you have to be a purchaser first of one of my products in order to be an affiliate.

There are two reasons for this, one more important than the other.

The first reason is so that people can't buy my products cheap. A lot of marketers will double the price of their product, but then leave affiliate links around their website so that prospects can easily get it at a hugely reduced price. It still leaves the marketer with a good profit.

That doesn't make any sense to me... it disadvantages those who can't work their way through the affiliate process and who are paying double the price.

So very early on I decided to keep my prices as low as possible - which means that your first purchase of any product has to be at full price. Then you get to be an affiliate and share in 50% of the profits when you promote my products.

The second reason is the most important one: you can't be an effective affiliate without trying the product.

This applies to any market. One of the best ways to promote a product is to set up a blog, forum or a website and give your personal recommendation from experience. Unless you know the product well and are also using it, it's impossible to do this.

Make Money While Waiting For Lotto

Let's talk further about making money while you're waiting for your lotto wins. I last talked about it here.

Want a check, like this one to me, for thousands of dollars every 2 weeks... arriving regular as clockwork in your mailbox?

Then I would recommend, very seriously, that you don't go into the following:

1. A business that requires physical stock of any kind.
2. A business that you need to run full-time.
3. A business that employs people.

Now, I'm not talking about large franchised businesses like McDonald's or a lawn mowing service... we're just talking about a business that will supplement your present income, or perhaps overtake it at some stage.

In my years in business, it was rare to see any kind of small business that made money. Most existed on debt - bank and family loans, overdrafts etc.

When I owned a couple of newspapers many years ago, only 10% of my advertisers were able to pay the bills promptly on the 20th of each month. Without exception, the rest of them ran over time. I even had to employ a separate person to collect debts. I would not wish my experience on anyone... yet it is typical of practically 90% of all small businesses around the world.

Fortunately, with the internet, you can start a business without any capital or risk at all. If you can sell, then someone will ship a product for you, collect the money, and pay you out fairly promptly.

The best kind of business is selling digital goods... e-books and software. There are no duplication costs, and apart from some low overhead from web hosting, all the money left over at the end of the month is yours.

So the ideal product is one that someone has already developed, is popular, is digital, has a low refund rate and you can run it in your spare time.

While there are literally thousands products that meet this criteria, I'm going to have to promote my own - because it has all the ticks in those boxes. And better than that, I have a selling system will set up ready for you... is very little to do except promote it, and I even help you do that.

So before you look at any of the tempting offerings that you'll see around you everywhere, make sure what you're doing covers these points:

• - the product has a low refund rate. Ask for proof.
• - the product has a wide audience. The larger the better, because this is the only way for growth.
• - the product has some longevity. Generally it's good to see a product that's been in the market for five years or more. Sales continuity is a good indication of a stable company.
• - the product is not a one-off. If there are other products associated with it, you will also profit from the sale of those.
• - the product cost you nothing. This is important... many multilevel marketing organizations require you to buy their product to onsell. Six months of not being able to use your garage because it's packed with unsold stock will soon convince you of the perils of prepaying stock.
• - make sure the entry barrier is not too low. For example, if anyone can sell a product the selling process will not be that effective because anyone can do it - and they often do using spam and other low grade selling processes. This gives the product a bad reputation, which passes on to you - making it more difficult to sell.

They're All Trying To Sell You Something!

In my business I get round a lot of websites. And quite frankly I am getting irritated beyond belief.

The latest offering doing the rounds is something called "D*v*t Dollars." Great name, but it's simply a lot of ballyhoo... a whole procession of income reports, wealth qualifications and not much else. There's not one single giblet of information about the product (called a blind offering in the marketing business).

Why would you want to buy this overhyped mess? I've no idea. I'm not even going to buy it to see if there's any value for you. I can tell you right now, it's unlikely to make anyone money except the owner.

I have another related complaint.

It's about these giant offerings of info-products with reams of fancy bound books, CD's spewing out of the packets, and tons of worksheets. Sure, they look fancy, and they weigh as much as a kitchen sink when you receive the enormous box by courier. But you have to put your life on hold while you're reading it and trying to absorb the vast amount of information.

Now, these marketers, they're all trying to sell something... I know. So am I. But the difference is that my lotto product is real, and it's quick to understand. There's no hoopla, or puffery. I don't lead you on. I don't make you dribble at the mouth with anticipation, then let you down with a lottery product that looks the same as everybody else's.

My stuff is simple, direct, unique, just like me :-)

You can even buy it ready-to-go, so that you spend just a minute or two filling out your lotto tickets - just once - and never have to do anything else again.

The Hidden Lotto Affiliate Secret

So you want to make your fortune as an affiliate?

My "Wasted" Years Teaching IM. Do I Regret It?

IM, in case you didn't know, stands for internet marketing.

I've been actively marketing on the internet since 1996, and have a list of successes as long as my arm... all gained through unique marketing strategies that I still use today.

A decade back I tried to educate others by showing them how I succeeded, selling my success system through several books I wrote... How To Make $100,000 A Year for example. While my sales were often spectacular, the end results were not. Very few people were able to see the benefits of following my different practices.

Even today, I'm doing the same things that brought me that spectacular success, but very few people are emulating me. I still don't know why, and I've long since given up trying to influence the 99% of marketing losers out there.

So after a few years I decided to concentrate on a subject that seemed to have a mind and profit of its own. No matter how little I did to promote it, sales continued to be consistent and growing. I was obviously stupid to ignore it for so long.

That subject was my lotto system.

Yet it still took me a few more years before I finally acknowledged that my life direction was headed towards a controversial subject that very few had succeeded in. Even today, there are very few lotto systems which give such a consistent result as mine. As a result I have pretty much cornered the market.

So here I am today, doing the very stuff that intrigues me. Even if I wasn't paid, I'd still be churning out informative blog posts and newsletter items. I enjoy it that much.

But of course nothing succeeds without an accepting audience, and I consider myself fortunate to be able to touch the lives of many tens of thousands of people. I hope one of those will be you.
